FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT 5 MASON COUNTY

Chairperson Griffey called the meeting of September 14, 2005 to order at 7 P.M. Present were Commissioners Taylor and Hauser and Chief Knight.

The minutes of the meeting of 8/24/05 were read.  MOTION MADE BY TAYLOR AND SECONDED BY HAUSER TO APPROVE THE MINUTES AS CORRECTED. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

Correspondence: None.

Commissioner Taylor asked about clearing out brush around hydrants at the Lake Limerick development as well as other hydrant location around the fire district.  A lengthy discussion followed.

The voucher were reviewed. MOTION MADE BY HAUSER AND SECONDED BY TAYLOR TO APPROVE FOR PAYMENT VOUCHERS #21147 THROUGH AND INCLUDING #21184 TOTALING $32,308.93 FOR OPERATIONS, TRUSTEED PLANS AND STANDARD INSURANCE.  MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

Chief Knight handed out copies of the 2006 Preliminary Budget for review and comments at future meetings.

The regular meeting adjourned at 7:24 P.M. to convene a work session.

The next regular meeting is scheduled for September 28, 2005 at 10 A.M.
